What is Reiki?
I have a blog post you can find HERE explaining it a little more in depth. The TLDR: Reiki is a Buddhist method of energy work that was popularized in Japan. A practitioner becomes a conduit of sorts for universal healing energy to help remove blockages and bring balance to ones energetic body.
I thought you had to be in person to give and receive Reiki.
This is a common misconception. The energy used for Reiki is found all around us and can be tapped into and directed from anywhere. Anyone who has been attuned to as a level 2 practitioner can offer distance Reiki using a particular symbol.
What is Tarot?
Tarot is a modality of divination, I go more in-depth in a blog post you can find HERE. It is a modality that started as a game and a way of teaching esoteric symbolism and later became a way to “read the future”. Though the future is not fixed and every reading should be taken with a grain of salt due to free will and personal choice playing a huge part. We can tap into your highest timeline and give advice about how to align with it.
Why won’t you do love readings?
I find love readings to be unhelpful at best and unethical at worst. Unhelpful because believing that your well being or life path should be tied to another is a harmful troupe we have all fallen into. Unethical because I would be reading on someone without their consent. Further I believe that love readings often come built in with a power imbalance where the reader can manipulate the querent into spending more and more money while never helping progress their life in any meaningful way.
What’s a wellness coach?
A wellness coach is a professional who assists individuals in achieving their health and wellness goals by providing guidance, support, and accountability. They work collaboratively with clients to create personalized plans that encompass various aspects of well-being, including physical fitness, nutrition, stress management, sleep hygiene, and emotional health.
Wellness coaches typically help clients identify their strengths, values, and priorities, then empower them to make sustainable lifestyle changes that align with their goals. They may utilize a variety of coaching techniques, such as motivational interviewing, goal setting, and behavior change strategies, to support clients in overcoming obstacles and staying on track.
In addition to offering guidance on lifestyle behaviors, wellness coaches often address holistic wellness by considering the interconnectedness of physical, mental, and emotional health. They may also provide education, resources, and referrals to other healthcare professionals as needed to support their clients' overall well-being.
Overall, wellness coaches play a vital role in helping individuals take proactive steps towards optimizing their health, enhancing their quality of life, and achieving a sense of balance and fulfillment.
